Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC NCL/PwD) in relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
  • UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / MH-SET or Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (candidates with Ph.D. under 2009/2016 norms exempted from NET/SET).
  • For Engineering / Technology / Management: B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. with First Class, or Master's in Business Administration with First Class and 2 years professional experience.
  • For Computer Science: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in relevant branch with First Class OR B.E./B.Tech. & MCA with First Class OR 3-year Graduation with Maths and MCA with First Class + 2 years experience.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi Language.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Temporary Assistant Professors (Contract) at Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University (KBCNMU, Jalgaon), KBCNMU Conducted Science and Commerce College (Molgi, Dist. The engagement is purely temporary on a contract basis for the Academic Year 2026-27 (self-supporting from university funds). Consolidated remuneration is ₹40,000/- per month for candidates with NET/SET and/or Ph.D. having 5 or more years of teaching experience, and ₹35,000/- per month for those with less than 5 years of experience or fresh appointees. Service may be extended for subsequent academic years based on satisfactory performance evaluation (as per Maharashtra Government Resolution dated 09.02.2018). The appointment confers no right or claim for permanent absorption or regular status in the university.
