Educational Qualification

• Assistant (Level 6): Officers under Central Govt / State Govt / PSU / Autonomous Bodies holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with 3 years regular service in Pay Level 4 (₹25,500-81,100); possessing a recognized Bachelor's Degree, knowledge in word processing, and minimum typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi.
• Junior Translation Officer (Level 6): Officers holding analogous posts or with 5 years regular service in Level 4 (or 13 years in Level 2); Master's Degree in Hindi/English with English/Hindi at Degree level OR Bachelor's with Hindi & English plus recognized Diploma/Certificate in translation or 2 years translation experience.
• Stenographer Grade II (Level 6): Officers holding analogous posts or with 3 years regular service in pre-revised pay scale ₹4500-7000 (or 8 years in ₹4000-6000); speed of 100 wpm in English Shorthand and 40 wpm in English typing with word processing skills.
• Stenographer Grade III (Level 4): Officers holding analogous posts or LDC with 8 years regular service in the grade; speed of 80 wpm in English Shorthand and 30 wpm in English typing.
• Upper Division Clerk (Level 4): Officers holding analogous posts or Lower Division Clerks (LDC) in Level 2 with 8 years regular service; possessing a speed of 30 wpm in English typing and knowledge in word processing.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications as per DoPT norms.
