Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) from a recognized University along with recognized Teacher Training qualification (B.Ed / D.El.Ed / BTC). Applicant must be currently working as a teacher in Parishadiya Primary or Upper Primary schools under Basic Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh with a minimum of 05 years of teaching experience. Candidate must have at least 05 years of service remaining before superannuation/retirement as on 05 November 2026. The candidate must not have any ongoing inquiry or prior disciplinary penalty. Application must be duly forwarded by the concerned Block Education Officer (BEO).

Age Limit & Relaxations

Age criteria is governed by remaining service tenure: Candidate must have at least 05 years of active service remaining before retirement as on 05 November 2026 (superannuation age is 62 years in Basic Shiksha Parishad UP).

The selection process consists of two stages: (1) Written Examination carrying 70 marks, where candidates must score a minimum of 60% (42 out of 70 marks) to qualify for the interview; (2) Personal Interview carrying 30 marks assessing subject-matter expertise, self-motivation, leadership capability, pedagogical vision, and commitment towards primary education. A final merit list will be prepared out of 100 marks by the District Selection Committee chaired by the Chief Development Officer (CDO).

ARPs are relieved from direct classroom teaching in their parent schools to serve as on-field academic mentors and supportive supervisors. An ARP is responsible for visiting 10 to 15 assigned primary and upper primary schools monthly across their designated block, conducting on-spot classroom observations, assessing FLN competencies of students, handholding teachers in multi-grade teaching, and logging real-time inspection feedback on departmental digital applications.

Initial tenure is for 01 year. Extension is granted on an annual basis up to a maximum cumulative tenure of 03 years, subject to a satisfactory Performance Appraisal by the District Selection Committee headed by the CDO. After completion of 3 years, the teacher repatriates to their parent school.

Pay Scale & Monthly Remuneration

Salary is drawn directly from the candidate’s parent school without any special cadre pay increase. A fixed mobility allowance of ₹4,500/- per month is admissible against submission of monthly supportive supervision verification bills.

Teachers continue to draw their substantive salary from their parent working school under UP State Pay Matrix (Level 6/7: ₹35,400 to ₹1,42,400). In addition, Academic Resource Persons (ARPs) receive a monthly Mobility Allowance of ₹4,500/- for supportive supervision upon achieving monthly inspection targets.
