Empaneled allied faculty and technicians work in the Department of Speech, Hearing & Communication at the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD-Divyangjan) campus in Muttukadu, Kovalam, Chennai. Faculty teach interdisciplinary theory and practical coursework to undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (B.ASLP) programme. Initial posting criteria, zone preferences, transfer liability.

The engagement is purely on a part-time / consultancy empanelment basis. Engagements are scheduled based on academic timetable requirements, subject syllabus coverage, and institutional clinical load. It confers no right or claim to regular appointment or permanent absorption at NIEPMD.

Career & Promotion Ladder

Promotion timeline, seniority ladder, pay grade scaling.

As a part-time empanelment on an hourly consultancy basis, there is no institutional promotion hierarchy. However, teaching and clinical technical experience gained at a premier national institute under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment provides significant academic credibility and valuable credentials for regular faculty and technician recruitments across RCI and AIIMS/rehabilitation institutions.
