Educational Qualification

Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in Food Science & Technology, Agricultural Process Engineering, Bio-process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences / Allied Sciences, along with a Ph.D. degree in any of these subjects. Additionally, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET conducted by UGC, CSIR, ICMR, ICAR, DBT or SLET/SET) OR possess a Ph.D. awarded in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016. Desirable: Experience in Microbial Engineering, research publications/patents, and a minimum of 5 research papers in referred UGC journals with a cumulative impact factor of at least 10.
