The Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy (HRED) at IIT Roorkee is a premier national center for hydro power and renewable energy research. Appointees will work directly under Principal Investigator Dr. Arun Kumar on an MNRE-sponsored Centre of Excellence project. The role involves an active mix of advanced laboratory modeling, high-performance CFD simulations (ANSYS Fluent/CFX, SolidWorks), prototype fabrication, and physical field testing across canals, rivers, and dam-toe structures.
