Educational Qualification

Post-Graduate degree (M.Pharm / M.Sc. / M.Tech) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or allied disciplines; or equivalent qualification with strong relevant experience. Experience requirements: (1) Technical Consultant Grade 1: 3 to 8 years of post-qualification experience across drug R&D (discovery, pre-clinical, clinical, or CMC); (2) Technical Consultant Grade 2: 8 to 15 years of post-qualification experience across drug R&D in industry, CRO, academia, or government programmes. Desirable: Ph.D. in relevant domains, prior grant management experience with DBT/BIRAC/ICMR/CSIR, regulatory fluency in CDSCO/New Drugs & CT Rules (2019), and patent literature search tools.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age limit as on 31.03.2026 is 40 years for Technical Consultant Grade 1 and 50 years for Technical Consultant Grade 2.
