Essential Experience: 3 years research/industrial/academic experience post-M.Tech/M.E. (no post-qualification experience required for Ph.D. holders).

The Research Associate I works within the Department of Medical Devices Engineering at SCTIMST's Biomedical Technology (BMT) Wing in Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram. The role involves cutting-edge R&D on minimally invasive cardiovascular implants (transcatheter valves, stent grafts, occluders) utilizing advanced CAD, finite element analysis (FEM), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), cleanroom prototyping, in-vitro hemodynamic bench testing, and ISO 13485 quality documentation for technology transfer to medical device industries.

The position is project-based initially for 6 months and extendable up to 13.06.2029 under DBT Project P.8264 without transfer liability.
