Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree or Sangeet Visharad or equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline (Tabla / Sarangi / Vocal Folk Music) with at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC candidates). Desirable: 3 years of work experience in the relevant discipline, Graded Artist status in All India Radio (AIR), and practical accompaniment expertise in classical music and dance.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 35 years as on the crucial date. SC and OBC candidates receive a 5-year upper age relaxation (up to 40 years). Experienced and specially qualified candidates also receive a special 5-year age relaxation (up to 40 years).
