Educational Qualification

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Commerce / Financial Management from a recognized University/Institution, OR Chartered Accountant (C.A.) or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a Government / Educational / Research Institution with sound knowledge of Central Government / U.T. Financial and Accounting Rules.

Deputation Conditions: Officers under Central / State / U.T. Government, Universities, Statutory / Autonomous Bodies, or R&D organizations holding analogous posts (Pay Level 12) on regular basis, OR with at least 2 years of regular service in posts in Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/- (Pay Level 11 of 7th CPC).

Desirable: Previous experience in Government of India funded Educational Institutions / Autonomous Bodies in an analogous post; passing the Departmental Accounts Examination; or membership of Organized Accounts Cadre of GoI / State Government.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age limit is 56 years on Deputation basis as on the closing date of application (20.11.2026) as per DoPT guidelines.

NID Madhya Pradesh is an Institution of National Importance under DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The Controller of Finance and Accounts (CFA) functions as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Institute, overseeing institutional budgeting, annual financial statements, statutory audits by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), grants-in-aid management, PFMS integration, GeM procurement compliance, and advising the Director and Governing Council on financial governance.

Deputation does not confer any right to absorption into the regular cadre.
