The Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) joins the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai (under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India). Stationed on a translational cancer biology project exploring the role and therapeutic manipulation of the NF-kB pathway in post-radiotherapy progression to multiple myeloma for solitary plasmacytoma. The role involves managing mammalian suspension cell lines, radiobiology cell survival assays, apoptosis detection, Western blotting, flow cytometry, and coordinating with clinical radiation oncologists at Tata Memorial Hospital. ACTREC offers world-class cancer research infrastructure, state-of-the-art flow cytometry cores, confocal microscopy, and an intellectually rigorous oncology environment.
