Master’s Degree in Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Science Communication, PR, Advertising, Digital Media, or equivalent; OR Master's Degree in Physical, Chemical, Materials Sciences; OR B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Materials Science, Engineering/Technology, or allied field from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to understand scientific concepts and submit a strong portfolio demonstrating science writing, editing, visual communication, design, or multimedia skills.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 40 years as on the closing date of application (03.11.2026). Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) or PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.
