Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification: Master's degree (MBA / M.Sc. / M.Tech / M.A. or equivalent) in Agriculture and allied / Agribusiness Management / Food Business Management / Food Technology / Supply Chain Management / Agricultural Economics / Environmental Science / Sustainability Management / Rural Management or an allied discipline from a recognized university/institution, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Desirable: 1. Experience in field surveys, structured interviews and primary data collection in the agri-food/rural sector. 2. Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis tools (MS Excel or similar). 3. Familiarity with sustainability concepts, carbon markets/carbon credits, ESG reporting and agri-food value chains. 4. Working knowledge of Hindi for field interactions with FPOs and farmers in Haryana.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 35 years as on the last date of application (20/10/2026). Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/women candidates).

Stationed at the Department of Food Business Management & Entrepreneurship Development (FBM&ED) at NIFTEM-Kundli, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). The Project Fellow works on the research project 'Integrated Sustainable Value Chain & Carbon Revenue Generation Model for Agro-Food Companies and FPOs in Haryana'. Daily tasks combine academic desk research and quantitative data modeling with extensive field travel across Haryana to interview Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), agribusiness managers, and farming communities. The role involves data verification using digital tools, organizing stakeholder workshops, and drafting project reports under the guidance of the PI and Co-PI.
