Educational Qualification

• Medical Qualifications: MBBS degree with Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or Diploma in the concerned specialty (Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Surgery) recognized by the National Medical Commission / Medical Council of India.
• Non-PG Eligibility: MBBS graduates with at least two (2) years of clinical experience in the concerned specialty may be considered if PG candidates are unavailable.
• Council Registration: Candidates must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or must have applied for DMC registration on or before the interview date.
• Tenure Cap: Candidates must not have completed three (3) years of Senior Residency in any government hospital/institution (unless appearing under relaxed norms for 1-year non-renewable appointment).

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age limit is 45 years as on the date of interview in accordance with Delhi Government Residency Scheme. Relaxation is admissible for SC/ST/OBC/Divyangjan candidates as per Government of India / GNCTD rules.
