Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized university. Must have completed a compulsory 1-year rotatory internship not before 2 years as on the date of interview (14.10.2026) and be enrolled with Delhi Medical Council (DMC). Must not have completed 1 year of Junior Residency in any Government hospital in India.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Age as on date of interview (14.10.2026) shall be 30 years for General/EWS candidates, 33 years for OBC candidates (Delhi only), and 35 years for SC/ST candidates. Under relaxed provisions (Circular F.121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045 dated 10/06/2011), the upper age limit is relaxed up to 40 years if fresh candidates are not available.

Selection will be made on the basis of document verification and walk-in interview before the interview panel on 14.10.2026. Reporting time is 10:00 AM and registration closes at 11:30 AM. Fresh candidates will be exhausted first; candidates under relaxed norms (e.g. up to 40 years or completed JR-ship) will be considered only if fresh candidates are not available. In case suitable SC/ST candidates are not available, seats will be filled by candidates from other categories on an ad-hoc basis.
