Educational Qualification

Essential Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from an institution recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC). Must possess valid registration from respective State Medical Council or NMC. Must have passed Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric.

Essential Experience: Minimum 6 months of clinical work experience. Good working knowledge of Computer (MS Office).

Desirable / Preferred: Work experience in HIV/AIDS Programme in field settings. Post Graduates from Clinical Discipline will also be considered; candidates with MD Medicine or Diploma in Medicine will be preferred.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The Medical Officer is stationed at the Facility Integrated Anti-Retroviral Therapy Centre (FIARTC), Ambala under the Haryana State AIDS Control Society (HYSACS). Duties involve clinical management of People Living with HIV (PLHIV), initiating and monitoring First-Line/Second-Line Antiretroviral Therapy (ART), managing Opportunistic Infections (OIs), patient counseling, and coordinating with ICTC, PPTCT, and Blood Bank units. It is an outpatient-focused, center-specific clinical posting.
