1. Super Specialist (Full Time / Part Time) - 02 Posts:
• Cardiology: MBBS with MD and DM/DNB in Cardiology.
• Oncology: MBBS with MCh/DM/DNB in Medical Oncology (or MD/DNB Radiotherapy with relevant experience).
• Experience: Nil for Entry Level; 5 years post-PG experience for Senior Level.

2. Specialist (Full Time / Part Time) - 11 Posts:
• MBBS with PG Degree / DNB in relevant specialty + 3 years experience, OR PG Diploma + 5 years experience.
• Departments: General Medicine, Radiology, Casualty, General Surgery, OBG, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Anaesthesia, ICU.

3. Senior Resident (1 Year) - 28 Posts:
• PG Degree or PG Diploma in concerned specialty.
• Non-PG: MBBS with 2 years experience (including 1 year in specialty) considered if PG doctors unavailable.
• Mandatory: Valid TCMC / NMC / MCI registration.

Age Limit & Relaxations

• Senior Resident (1 Year): Not exceeding 45 years as on 09.10.2026.
• Full Time / Part Time Super Specialist & Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on 09.10.2026.
• Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PWD as per Government of India rules.

The selection will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview on 09.10.2026 at ESIC Hospital, Udyogamandal, Ernakulam, Kerala:
1. Registration: Reporting and registration from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Candidates arriving after 09:15 AM are disqualified from interview participation.
2. Document Scrutiny: Scrutiny of MBBS, MD/MS/DNB/MCh/DM degree credentials, TCMC/MCI registration, Demand Draft payment, and category certificates.
3. Interview: Clinical knowledge assessment before the Selection Board. In case of non-availability of reserved category candidates, vacancies may be filled for 45 days through UR candidates.

Working hours for Full-Time Super Specialists and Specialists are 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM on weekdays and 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM on Saturdays, with 24x7 emergency on-call availability. Part-Time Specialists/Super Specialists work 16 hours per week (4 hours x 4 days). Private practice is strictly barred for Full-Time doctors. Full-Time Specialists must hold a Professional Indemnity Insurance policy with coverage of ₹10 Lakhs to ₹30 Lakhs depending on the discipline.
