Educational Qualification

For Senior Resident: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma in concerned broad speciality (Anesthesia, Medicine, Pediatrics, Critical Care) from a recognized medical institution as per NMC guidelines. For Non-PG Resident (ICU only): MBBS with 2 years of hospital experience (including at least 1 year in ICU/Medicine/Emergency/Anesthesia). Updated NMC/State Medical Council registration is mandatory.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 45 years as on the date of walk-in interview (09.10.2026). Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

High-intensity clinical duties in tertiary care intensive care units (ICU, NICU, PICU) at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad. Routine responsibilities include mechanical ventilation management, central line insertions, neonatal resuscitation, hemodynamic monitoring, round-the-clock emergency call duties, and mentoring undergraduate MBBS students and junior resident doctors. No private practice of any kind is permitted.

Posting & Transfer Policy

Contractual tenure of 1 year, extendable up to 3 years subject to satisfactory appraisal. However, the tenure is terminable earlier if a bonded senior resident joins against the post. 1 month advance notice or payment of 1 month salary in lieu thereof is mandatory to resign.
