ESIC Rourkela Specialist Walk-in 2026

Educational Qualification: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or equivalent, OR Post Graduate Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized University/Institution, registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council.
Experience: Minimum 3 years clinical experience after obtaining PG Degree, OR minimum 5 years clinical experience after obtaining PG Diploma in the respective medical specialty.

Candidate must not exceed 69 years of age as on the date of interview. Standard age relaxations for SC, ST, OBC, and other categories apply as per Central Government rules.

1. Download the official application form (Annexure-B) from the recruitment notifications section on the ESIC portal at esic.gov.in.
2. Fill out the prescribed application form in capital letters, clearly specifying whether applying for Full Time Specialist or Part Time Specialist and mentioning the specialty department.
3. Affix a recent passport-size photograph and prepare two sets of self-attested photocopies of all requisite certificates: Date of Birth proof (10th standard certificate), MBBS Degree and Marksheets, PG Degree / PG Diploma certificates, NMC / State Medical Council Registration Certificate, post-PG clinical experience certificates, Caste/Community Certificate (if applicable), and NOC from current employer (if currently employed).
4. Obtain a Demand Draft of ₹300/- (for General and OBC candidates) drawn in favor of 'ESI Model Hospital A/C 2' payable at 'Rourkela' (SC, ST, Women, and PwD candidates are exempt).
5. Appear in person for the Walk-in Interview on any working Wednesday between 11:00 AM and 01:00 PM along with the filled form, Demand Draft, two sets of photocopies, and original certificates at:
