Educational Qualification

Specialist (Radiology): MBBS with MD/DNB in Radiology (₹1,60,000/- p.m.) OR MBBS with Diploma in Radiology/equivalent (₹1,45,000/- p.m.).
Specialist (General Surgery - Future Panel): MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery (₹1,60,000/- p.m.).
Specialist (Medicine - Future Panel): MBBS with MD/DNB in Medicine (₹1,60,000/- p.m.).
General Duty Doctor (Future Panel): MBBS with minimum 1 year clinical experience (₹1,26,000/- p.m.; DMER bond fulfillment eligible).
Registration: Valid Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) registration mandatory.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 50 years for candidates with Post Graduate degree/diploma and 45 years for MBBS degree holders. Standard age relaxation applies for reserved categories in accordance with Government of India norms.

Recruits will join the Medical Department of the Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) at the MbPA Hospital located in Nadkarni Park, Wadala (East), Mumbai. The hospital is a well-equipped, modern tertiary-care central port health institution catering to serving and retired port employees, dock workers, and their dependents. The Specialist (Radiology) will be responsible for diagnostic radiography, reporting on ultrasound scans, CT scans, and MRI scans, as well as handling emergency imaging. The work culture operates on standard hospital shifts with emergency on-call rotas. MbPA residential quarters are available on campus (with 10% rent deduction). The post of Medical Officer is recognized by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, allowing candidates with compulsory government service bond obligations to fulfill their bond terms at MbPA Hospital.
