Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification (Option 1): Master's Degree (MPH / M.Sc. / M.Pharm) in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Environmental Sciences, Population Sciences, Demography, Health Economics, or Health Technology Assessment (HTA) with at least 3 years of post-PG research/project experience AND minimum 1 published research paper in an SCIE journal.
• Essential Qualification (Option 2): MD, MS, MDS, or Ph.D. in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, or Health Sciences from a recognized university.
• Desirable Competencies: Advanced proficiency in Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis, statistical analysis using R, SPSS, or STATA, and first/corresponding author research publications in SCIE Q1 indexed journals.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age limit is 40 years as on the application closing date (October 20, 2026). Under ICMR guidelines dated 18.10.2024, age relaxation up to 5 years may be considered for candidates with experience in a Government Research Organisation on a case-to-case basis.

AIIMS Mangalagiri is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW). The Research Associate III will be embedded in the 'Technical Resource Centre (TRC) under the Centre for Evidence-Based Guidelines' funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR/ICMR). The post is mentored by Principal Investigator Dr. Vikram Damaraju (Assistant Professor of Pulmonary Medicine). The core technical work revolves around evidence synthesis: developing and registering Cochrane/PROSPERO systematic review protocols, conducting comprehensive meta-analyses, statistical synthesis in R, Stata, and SPSS, drafting high-impact evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for national health policy, authoring peer-reviewed manuscripts for SCIE Q1 journals, and organizing capacity-building workshops. Working environment is academic, research-intensive, and collaborative (standard hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday with alternating weekend duty when deadlines require).
