ICAR IVRI Young Professional Walk-in 2026

Young Professional-II (YP-II): Master's degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biomedical Science / Bioinformatics OR 4-year Professional Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural / Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) / Animal Science / Allied Sciences. Desirable: M.V.Sc./M.Sc. in VPH/VPE/Microbiology with experience in microbial isolation, cell culture, and molecular assays.
Young Professional-I (YP-I): Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or Biomedical Science. Desirable: Experience in molecular epidemiology, handling large livestock, and infectious disease culture.
Note: Only candidates possessing provisional or final degree certificates are eligible to apply.

Minimum age 21 years and maximum age 45 years as on the date of interview/submission. Age relaxation admissible for SC, ST, OBC, Women, and PwD candidates as per Government of India / ICAR rules.

1. Verify academic eligibility: B.Sc./B.V.Sc./B.Tech for YP-I, and M.Sc./M.V.Sc./M.Tech or Professional Bachelor's degree for YP-II. Candidates must possess provisional or final degree certificates.
2. Prepare a comprehensive Bio-data in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) affixing a recent passport-size photograph.
3. Assemble original documents and self-attested photocopies of: 10th and 12th marksheets, graduation and post-graduation degree certificates and consolidated marksheets, proof of date of birth, caste certificate, experience certificates, and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer (if serving).
4. Email scanned copies of the completed bio-data along with testimonials in a single PDF file in advance to [email protected].
5. Appear for the Walk-in Interview on 12 October 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Division of Veterinary Public Health, ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar – 243 122, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
