Mumbai Port Dy Chief Engineer Recruitment 2026

Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution. Candidates must have at least 12 years of executive cadre experience in planning, construction, design, and maintenance, preferably of port and marine structures in an industrial, commercial, or government undertaking. Eligible serving officers of Major Port Authorities in analogous posts or Superintending Engineer (Civil) scale are considered for absorption through the composite method.

Upper age limit is 42 years for direct recruitment; for absorption through composite method from Major Ports, age and service criteria apply as per Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways guidelines.

1. Eligible officers from Major Port Authorities must submit their application online through the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Online Application Portal (OAP) at http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in between 22.09.2026 and 21.10.2026.
2. Download and print the completed application form submitted on OAP.
3. Submit the hard copy of the application form to the parent administrative Port authority for verification and onward forwarding.
4. The administrative Port must forward the application along with attested copies of APARs for the last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25), No Objection Certificate (NOC), administrative clearance (Annexure-II), vigilance report (Annexure-III), and candidate non-withdrawal undertaking on or before 04.11.2026.
5. The physical application must be super-scribed with 'Application for the post of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) in Mumbai Port Authority' and addressed to the General Administration Department, Port House, 2nd Floor, S.V. Marg, Ballard Estate, Mumbai 400001.
