Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in Geographical Information System (GIS), Geoinformatics, Geo-spatial studies, or related/equivalent course from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in GIS or GIS-based urban planning and related activities.
• Required Technical Skills: (1) Experience in GIS-based mapping, digitisation, geo-referencing, and handling/interpretation of satellite imagery; (2) Proficiency in GIS-based datasets and tools, along with working experience in AutoCAD software; (3) Working knowledge of cadastral maps for planning purposes on GIS platforms and use of satellite imagery for urban planning exercises.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age limit is 30 years as on the application closing date (26.09.2026). Standard age relaxation rules apply as per Government of India guidelines.

The Young Professional (GIS) undertakes geospatial mapping, satellite imagery interpretation, land digitisation, and cadastral map integration to support urban housing redevelopment, slum cluster boundary demarcations, and infrastructure planning in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
