Educational Qualification

Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Law, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Security Studies, Public Administration, Development Management, Social Science, Human Resources Management, Change Management, or related field. A first-level university degree with extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree. Candidate must be an active serving police officer with a minimum of 15 years (17 years without Master's degree) of progressive policing experience, including at least 10 years at senior policy-making level. Graduation from a certified police academy/institution is mandatory. Fluency in spoken and written French and English is required.
