Medical Officers recruited under the National Health Mission (NHM) in Ghaziabad district are deployed across District Hospitals (Emergency Medical Officers), Community Health Centres (CHC Non-Communicable Disease clinics), Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs), Tele-Medicine hubs, and Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (under the 15th Finance Commission and PM-ABHIM infrastructure schemes). Appointees deliver primary and emergency clinical healthcare, supervise immunization programs, manage maternal and child health clinics, run telemedicine consultations, and ensure implementation of national health priorities. Clinical duties operate in shifts at district hospitals or standard health facility hours (8:00 AM to 2:00 PM / 4:00 PM) at UPHCs and Arogya Mandirs, with active coordination alongside ANMs, ASHAs, and district programme management teams.

Posting & Transfer Policy

Appointments are purely contractual under the National Health Mission, valid initially up to 31 March 2027 (or subsequent government sanction), and extendable annually based on Government of India project approvals and satisfactory performance appraisals. Contracts may be terminated by either party with one month's notice or payment of one month's salary.

Pay Scale & Monthly Remuneration

EMO, CHC NCD, Maternal Health, and Tele-Medicine: ₹1,00,000/- per month fixed honorarium. UPHC and Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandir (15th FC / PMABHIM): ₹80,000/- base honorarium + ₹20,000/- Performance Based Incentive (PBI) per month.
