Educational Qualification

Senior Consultant (Scientific - Non-Medical): Minimum M.Sc / B.Tech / BE / MCA / MPH / B.Pharm / BAMS / BSMS / MD in AYUSH or equivalent qualification with at least 12 years of post-qualification experience; OR Retired Government employees who served in regular Pay Level 10 and above with at least 10 years experience. Consultant (Finance): Post Graduate degree in Management, Law, Public Administration, Finance & Accounts, CA, ICWAI, Commerce, or Economics with at least 8 years experience in Administration, Finance & Accounts, Audit, or Legal in Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies; OR Retired Government employees with a Bachelor's degree who served in Pay Level-7 and above with at least 10 years experience.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Cut-off date for age calculation is 22-10-2026. For Senior Consultant (Scientific): Minimum age 40 years, Maximum age 70 years. For Consultant (Finance): Minimum age 40 years, Maximum age 60 years (up to 70 years for retired consultants). Age relaxation as per ICMR guidelines.

Senior Consultant (Scientific) provides expert technical leadership on biomedical research projects, epidemiological surveys, health technology evaluations, and scientific protocol design across the North Eastern region. No allowances such as DA, HRA, CGHS, or transport facility are admissible.
