Educational Qualification

• Basic Medical Qualification: MBBS degree included in Schedule I & II or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Postgraduate Degree: M.D. in Radiotherapy or recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Radiotherapy.
• Desirable: Experience in operating a Linear Accelerator (LINAC) is preferred.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age limit is 50 years as on the date of Walk-in-Interview (29.09.2026). Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Government of India / DoPT rules.

Contractual Assistant Professors are actively involved in outpatient oncology clinics, multidisciplinary tumor boards, radiation contouring, treatment plan verification, Linear Accelerator (LINAC) quality assurance, and undergraduate/postgraduate medical education. The work culture operates on standard hospital timings (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday) with rotational emergency and inpatient oncology coverage; private clinical practice is strictly prohibited.
