Educational Qualification

Post-wise educational criteria under NHM Nalgonda:
1. Pediatrician / Medical Officer: MD (Pediatrics) / DCH / MBBS registered with Telangana State Medical Council.
2. MLHP / CHO / MO Palle Dawakhana: MBBS / BAMS registered with Medical / Indian Medicine Council, or B.Sc Nursing (passed out 2020 onwards) / GNM with 6 months CPCH bridge programme through IGNOU registered with T.S. Nursing Council.
3. Medical Officer: MBBS registered with T.S. Medical Council.
4. Lab Technician: Intermediate with Diploma / Certified Course in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or equivalent registered with Telangana Paramedical Board.
5. District Epidemiologist: MBBS with PG Degree in Public Health OR Master Degree in Public Health (MPH) / Master in Applied Epidemiology.
6. Staff Nurse: GNM or B.Sc. Nursing registered with Telangana State Nursing Council.
7. ANM / MPHW (Female): SSC with Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Female) Training Course OR Intermediate Vocational MPHW(F) with 1-year clinical training, registered with Telangana State Nurses and Midwives Council.
8. Public Health Manager: Graduate in Dental / AYUSH / Nursing / Life Science / Social Science with Master Degree in Public Health / Community Health / PSM and 2 years experience.
9. Psychologist: Master degree in Child Psychology / M.Phil in Rehabilitation Psychology / Master Degree in Psychology (Rehabilitation / Clinical Psychologist).
10. Pharmacist: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or B.Pharmacy registered with Telangana State Pharmacy Council.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 44 years as on 01.07.2026. Age relaxations: 5 years for SC / ST / BC / EWS; 3 years plus length of service for Ex-Servicemen and NCC instructors; 10 years for Physically Challenged persons (up to 54 years maximum).
