Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess qualifications prescribed for the respective posts: Lab Technician requires Intermediate with DMLT or B.Sc.(LT) and Para Medical Board registration; MLHP requires MBBS, BAMS, or B.Sc. Nursing (graduated 2020 onwards, or earlier with 6-month CPCH bridge program, or GNM with CPCH) and relevant council registration; Physician requires MBBS with MD (General Medicine) registered with TG Medical Council; Staff Nurse requires GNM or B.Sc. Nursing with TG Nursing Council registration; Physiotherapist requires Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) with TG Para Medical Board registration; DEIC Manager requires MDRA (RCI approved), PG Degree/Diploma in Hospital/Health Management, MBA with hospital experience, or MPH; Pediatrician requires MBBS with MD (Paediatrics) or DCH registered with State Medical Council; Pharmacist requires SSC with Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) registered with Pharmacy Council; Radiographer requires CRA or Diploma/Degree in Radiography registered with TG Paramedical Board.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The candidate must be between 18 and 44 years of age as on 01-07-2026 in terms of Rule-12 (1) (a) (v) of Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996. Permissible age relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST/BCs & EWS (up to 49 years), 10 years for Physically Handicapped persons (up to 54 years), 3 years plus service duration for Ex-Servicemen and NCC instructors (up to 47 years).

Selection is conducted by the District Selection Committee on a pure merit basis out of 100 marks: 90 marks are allotted based on aggregate marks/percentage obtained in the qualifying educational examination, and 10 marks are awarded for age (0.5 marks per completed year of age above 18 years as on 01-07-2024, up to a maximum of 10 marks). A provisional merit list will be prepared and displayed on the official Mahabubnagar District website for transparency and calling objections.
