Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold an MBBS degree with a recognized Post Graduate Degree, DNB, or Diploma in the concerned specialty (Obstetrics & Gynaecology or General Surgery) from a recognized University or Institution. Valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) is mandatory. Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency are eligible only under relaxed residency criteria if fresh candidates are unavailable, for a non-renewable tenure of 1 year.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidate must be below 45 years of age on the date of interview (23.09.2026). Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates (applicable only to OBC certificates issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi).
