Educational Qualification

Head Constable (General Duty): 10+2 (Intermediate) passed from a recognized Board/University AND representation/medal in recognized International tournaments, National Games/Championships (up to 3rd place), Inter-University (1st/2nd place in individual or finalists in team event), or Junior National Championships (Gold/Silver medal) within the last two years (30/09/2024 to 30/09/2026).
Constable (General Duty): 10th Class (Matriculation) passed from a recognized Board AND representation in Senior/Junior National Championships, National School Games (SGFI, medals up to 3rd place), Khelo India Youth/University/Winter Games (medals up to 3rd place), or Inter-University Tournaments within the last two years.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidate must be between 18 and 23 years of age as on 01.08.2026 (born between 02.08.2003 and 01.08.2008). Upper age relaxation for meritorious sportspersons: Unreserved (UR): 5 years (up to 28 years); OBC (NCL): 8 years (up to 31 years); SC/ST: 10 years (up to 33 years).

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is India's largest Central Armed Police Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Personnel recruited under the Sports Quota are enrolled as active sportspersons dedicated to representing CRPF and the Indian Police in All India Police Games, National Games, and International championships. They undergo specialized athletic training, physical conditioning camps, and fitness drills under national-level coaches at CRPF Group Centres and sports hubs while observing paramilitary discipline and code of conduct.
