Educational Qualification

Mandatory Domicile & Indigenous Criteria: Candidates must be Citizens of India, Permanent Residents of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid PRC, and possess indigenous Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) status along with proficiency in any indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh.

Post-wise Educational Criteria:
Finance & Accounts Officer / Treasury Officer (Group-A): Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, BBA, or Economics OR Bachelor's Degree in any stream with Mathematics or Statistics studied as a compulsory subject across all semesters/years.
Sub-Treasury Officer (Group-B): Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, BBA, or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with Economics and Statistics studied as a compulsory subject across all semesters/years.
Assistant Director (Prosecution) (Group-A): Degree in Law (LL.B.) with at least 7 years of active practice as an advocate in criminal courts OR experience as a Magistrate of the First Class.
Assistant Public Prosecutor (Group-B): Degree in Law (LL.B.) with minimum 7 years of active criminal law practice.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidates must be between 21 and 35 years of age as on the closing date of application (12 October 2026). The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for APST candidates (up to 40 years) and by 15 years for APST PwBD candidates (up to 50 years). State government regular employees are entitled to age concessions as per government rules.

The selection process comprises: (1) Preliminary Recruitment Screening Test (Objective, 200 Marks) if the number of applicants is large, shortlisting 12 times the advertised vacancies for the written exam; (2) Written Examination consisting of 3 papers totaling 450 marks: Paper-I General English & General Studies (Objective, 150 Marks), Paper-II Concerned Subject Paper-I (Descriptive, 150 Marks), and Paper-III Concerned Subject Paper-II (Descriptive, 150 Marks); and (3) Viva-Voce / Personal Interview of 50 Marks (candidates called at a 1:3 ratio). Candidates must score at least 20% in each individual paper and 33% in aggregate in the written examination (10% per paper and 20% aggregate for PwBD) to qualify for the viva-voce. Final merit is compiled out of 500 marks.

  2. Complete mandatory One-Time Registration (OTR) or log in using existing user credentials.
  3. Navigate to 'Advertisement No. 06/2026 - Common Recruitment Examination for Group-A & Group-B (Technical) Posts-2026 (Part-II)' and fill out the online application form.
