Eligibility criteria for Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) under DLSA Dima Hasao:

  • Educational Qualification: Minimum HSLC (10th Standard Pass) from a recognized Board.
  • Eligible Backgrounds: Must belong to any of the following categories: teachers, retired government servants, senior citizens, MSW students/teachers, anganwadi workers, doctors, law students (prior to advocate enrollment), NGO/club members, women's SHG members, social workers, or ex-servicemen.
  • Skill Preferences: Compassion, community empathy, comprehension skills, basic computer operations, and driving ability.

Selection is conducted by the Selection Committee headed by the District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, DLSA Dima Hasao.
