Educational Qualification

Educational qualifications vary across posts: Class 8th Pass for Class-IV support staff (Peon, Watchman, Head Cook, Assistant Cook); Intermediate (Science) or Diploma in Lab Technology for Lab Assistant; Intermediate with CCC certificate / Computer Diploma and typing speed (25 wpm Hindi, 30 wpm English) for Clerk; Graduate Degree with B.Ed. and Upper Primary Level TET (Paper-II) for Full-Time Teachers; Post-Graduate Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) with B.Ed. for PGT roles; and B.Com with DOEACC 'O' Level for Accountant. Only female candidates are eligible.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidates must be between 25 and 45 years of age as on 01 April 2026. Age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates as per Uttar Pradesh State Government rules. Maximum age limit for existing KGBV employees is up to 60 years.

Staff appointed at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) in Budaun district work in residential government schools serving underprivileged and rural girls from Class 6 to 12. Full-time teachers (Purna-kalik Shikshika), warden/caretaker, head cooks, assistant cooks, peons, and watchmen are strictly required to reside 24x7 within the school campus hostel premises. Staying with family members in the school campus is strictly prohibited. The environment requires dedicated supervision of girls' safety, residential warden duties, evening study hours, and meal management in addition to regular classroom teaching. Part-time instructors (computer, art, physical education) attend during designated instructional periods without mandatory overnight stay.

Appointments are purely on a contractual basis for an initial duration of one academic session (11 months and 29 days).
