Educational Qualification

Senior Resident: PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from a recognized university, registered with DMC/MCI. If PG doctors are unavailable, MBBS doctors with 2 years experience (1 year in the specialty) in a Govt/Private hospital may be considered for 1-year contract.

Contractual Specialist: MBBS with PG degree/diploma in concerned specialty with 3 years experience post-PG degree or 5 years experience post-PG diploma, registered with DMC/MCI. For Dental: MDS (Endodontist) with 3 years experience.

Contractual Super Specialist: MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/M.Ch/DNB in concerned super specialty registered with DMC/MCI. 3 years post-degree experience for entry level, 5 years for senior consultant level.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years as on 03.11.2026. Specialist and Super Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on 03.11.2026. Upper age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.

Doctors handle busy outpatient departments (OPDs), 24x7 emergency and trauma care, specialized ICUs (NICU/PICU), and routine/emergency surgeries. Posting & Transfer Policy

Stationed at ESIC Hospital, Sri Maa Anandmayee Marg, Okhla Phase-1, New Delhi - 110020. Senior Residents are appointed under the Central Residency Scheme for an initial tenure of 1 year, extendable annually up to a maximum of 3 years. Contractual Specialists and Super Specialists are engaged for up to 3 years renewable annually or until regular incumbents join.
