HP High Court PA/Judgment Writer & Stenographer Recruitment 2026 – Apply for 12 Posts

Essential Qualifications: Must be a Graduate from a recognized university and an in-service stenographer on the establishment of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh or District Judiciary of H.P. with the prescribed qualifying regular service tenure (1, 3, or 5 years depending on the mode).

Speed Standards:

• PA / Judgment Writer (Modes C & D): English Stenography @ 110 WPM and English typing on computers @ 55 WPM.
• Stenographer (Mode B): English Stenography @ 100 WPM and English typing on computers @ 50 WPM.
• Error Threshold: Maximum 10% permissible errors allowed in both transcription and typing tests.

Governed by HP High Court Officers and Staff (Recruitment, Promotion, Conditions of Service, Conduct and Appeal) Rules, 2015 for serving officials of High Court and District Courts.

Candidates must apply in offline mode using the prescribed format attached with this notification. The completed application, along with self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents (from 10th standard onwards and essential qualification certificates), must reach the Registry of the High Court of H.P. on or before September 15, 2026.
