ICAR-IARI Karnal Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in for 05 YP-II, YP-I, Skilled & Unskilled Labor Posts

Post-wise essential qualifications and project scopes:
• Young Professional-II (YP-II - 02 Posts): Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Seed Science and Technology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Physiology, Botany, Biotechnology / Molecular Biology, Vegetable Science / Horticulture, or other allied disciplines of Agricultural Sciences OR Professional Graduate (B.E. / B.Tech.) in relevant subjects. Desirable: Experience in seed quality testing/enhancement, laboratory quality control, and statistical packages (R/SAS/SPSS). Remuneration: ₹42,000/- p.m. fixed.
• Young Professional-I (YP-I - 01 Post): Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a good academic record. Desirable: Working knowledge of computers (MS Office) and hands-on experience in seed/crop testing or agricultural field/laboratory operations. Remuneration: ₹30,000/- p.m. fixed.
• Skilled Labor (01 Post): Class 10th pass with experience in agricultural research, seed production, field plots maintenance, and laboratory equipment handling. Remuneration: ₹22,500/- p.m. fixed.
• Un-Skilled Labor (01 Post): Below 10th pass with 5-6 years of experience in agricultural field/laboratory work, controlled pollination, and sample handling. Remuneration: ₹15,000/- p.m. fixed.

For Young Professionals (YP-I & YP-II), minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 45 years as on 01.09.2026. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwBD candidates admissible as per ICAR and Government of India guidelines.

Eligible candidates should appear for a walk-in-interview on the specified date and time at the ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Regional Station, Karnal 132002. Candidates must bring the duly filled-in application form (in the enclosed format), two passport size photographs, all original testimonials (proof of date of birth, all mark sheets and degree certificates, category/PwBD certificate, experience certificates, training certificates and publications, if any) along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the same, and a valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Driving Licence/Voter ID). A brief resume may also be presented with the Post Code applied for mentioned in the subject line at the time of interview. Candidates already in employment must produce a No Objection Certificate and experience certificate from their present employer at the time of the interview.
