IIT (BHU) Varanasi Recruitment 2026 – Apply for 01 Junior Research Assistant (JRA) Post (CSTUP Project)

Qualifications and eligibility requirements for Junior Research Assistant (JRA) at IIT (BHU) Varanasi:
• Educational Degree: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering, or allied branches with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University / Institute.
• Mandatory Domicile: Candidate must be an Indian citizen and a bona fide resident of Uttar Pradesh (as per CSTUP funding guidelines).
• Desirable & Preferred Skills: Valid GATE score in EE, EC, CS, or AI/ML; practical experience in Python programming, machine learning model architectures for fault detection, image/signal processing, sensor development, and high-voltage insulator test setups.
• Age Limit: Up to 28 years as on 21.09.2026 (relaxable as per Govt. of India rules).

• Step 1 - Email (Mandatory): Create a single PDF file containing the duly filled Application Form (attached at the end of this document) along with all relevant qualification certificates, marksheets, experience certificate, age proof, caste certificate, and other supporting documents.
