Educational Qualification

Officers under Central / State Governments / Statutory or Autonomous bodies / Public Sector Undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis; OR with 5 years regular service in Level 11 in the pay matrix (PB-3, Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + GP Rs. 6,600); AND
(ii) Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture from a recognized University / Institute.
Experience: Experience in works directed with inland waterways in dredging, river conservancy works, river training, and marking of fairway rules and regulations for safety of shipping and navigation.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Appointment is made on deputation basis initially for a period of 3 years.
