The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) at Medical College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram, is a globally recognized comprehensive cancer care and research institution operating autonomously under the Government of Kerala. The Statistician will be placed in the Division of Cancer Epidemiology & Biostatistics under project code RP0405. Daily responsibilities include analyzing clinical cancer registry data, performing survival analyses, epidemiological modeling, patient survival curve plotting, sample size calculations, and data management using R, SPSS, and Python. The working environment is research-intensive and interdisciplinary, collaborating closely with oncologists, epidemiologists, and public health researchers during standard institutional hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

Contractual project appointment for an initial period of one (01) year. Engagement is purely temporary and coterminous with the project, with no claim for regular or permanent absorption in the Regional Cancer Centre.
