Educational Qualification

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale) in Social Sciences, English, Science Education, Sociology of Education, Education Development and Policy, Foundations of Education, or Psychology of Education from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. In addition, candidates must have cleared UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET, or SET, OR have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (or obtained Ph.D. from a foreign institution ranked among the top 500 in QS/THE/ARWU rankings).

Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D. in Social Science / English / Education and allied disciplines, university-level teaching experience, experience in quantitative and/or mixed methods research, and a track record of working in large-scale multi-partner research projects.
