Educational Qualification

Eligible candidates must be retired personnel (aged 63 years or below) who have served as Hindi Officer or above level in any Central Government Department or Central Government establishment.
Educational Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Hindi with English as a subject at degree level; OR
• Master's degree in English with Hindi as a subject at degree level; OR
• Master's degree in any subject with Hindi and English at degree level; OR
• Master's degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi at degree level.
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years' experience as Hindi Officer or above level in any Central Govt Depts/establishments (or 10 years' experience if candidates with exact master's combinations are unavailable).

Age Limit & Relaxations

Retired persons of the age of 63 years or below who have served as Hindi Officer or above level in any Central Govt. Department / Establishment.

The Consultant (Official Language) operates under the Secretary and Deputy Chairperson at New Mangalore Port Authority. Key duties include ensuring compliance with the Official Language Act 1963 and Rules 1976, organizing Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) meetings, translating statutory port circulars, tenders, and annual reports, and conducting quarterly Hindi workshops.

Pay Scale & Monthly Remuneration

Monthly consolidated remuneration is calculated as Last Pay Drawn at retirement minus Basic Pension, fixed as per DoE OM dated 09.12.2020.

Fixed monthly consolidated remuneration arrived at by deducting basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement as per Ministry of Finance Department of Expenditure OM No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 09.12.2020. No other allowances/perks admissible except official tour TA/DA at Hindi Officer entitlement.
