Candidates must possess a Master's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level, OR a Master's Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level.

Service Eligibility (Officers under Central Government):

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in parent cadre; OR
• With 5 years' regular service in Level-10 (pre-revised PB-3 GP 5400) or equivalent; OR
• With 6 years' regular service in Level-8 (pre-revised PB-2 GP 4800) or equivalent; OR
• With 7 years' regular service in Level-7 (pre-revised PB-2 GP 4600) or equivalent.

Desirable: One year experience in implementing the Official Language Act, 1963 (19 of 1963) or policy.

The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

1. Eligible officers should volunteer and download the prescribed bio-data proforma (Annexure-II) from the Ministry of Home Affairs official portal.
2. Complete the bio-data in duplicate, attaching attested copies of educational qualifications, experience certificates, and up-to-date APARs/ACRs for the last 5 years attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India.
3. Obtain Cadre Clearance, Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate, and Major/Minor Penalties statement for the past 10 years from the parent cadre/department.
4. The cadre controlling authority must forward the completed application along with all requisite certificates to Under Secretary (Ad-V), Ministry of Home Affairs, Hall No. 35076, 5th Floor, Kartavya Bhawan-III, New Delhi-110001 within 60 days from the date of publication of the vacancy circular in Employment News.
