Apprentices will undergo practical shipyard trade training at the Malpe Harbour Complex facility of Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited, a subsidiary of premier Miniratna CPSE Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL). Electrician apprentices are engaged in marine electrical installations, switchboard cabling, machinery wiring, generator maintenance, and navigation light systems on vessels. Plumber apprentices work on shipboard pipe bending, hull plumbing, bilge-ballast pipelines, and high-pressure fluid conduits.
