Post-wise Qualification & Experience:
• Programme Officer: M.E./M.Tech in Coastal Management / Environmental Engineering with 5 years experience. Desirable: Ph.D. in Coastal/Ocean/Water Resources/Environmental Engineering with B.E. (Civil Engg).
• Information Officer: M.E./M.Tech in Coastal Management / Environmental Engineering / Hydrology and Water Resources with 3 years experience. Desirable: Experience with EIACP Programme.
• IT/GIS Officer: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Civil Engineering / Geoinformatics with experience in GIS software and 2 years experience. Desirable: Experience with EIACP Programme.
• Data Entry Operator: B.E./B.Tech or B.S. in any discipline, or M.Sc. or M.S.W. from a recognized University/Institution.

Positions are based at the Institute for Ocean Management (IOM), College of Engineering Guindy (CEG) campus, Anna University, Chennai. The project operates under the Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme (EIACP) funded by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India. The team is responsible for managing the EIACP Resource Partner web portal, curating thematic coastal and marine databases, executing nationwide Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) outreach activities, conducting Certificate and Green Skill Development Programmes (GSDP), and publishing environmental compendiums.

The appointments are purely temporary and on a contractual consolidated basis, initially sanctioned for 6 months. Tenures are extendable based on candidate performance, project requirement, and funding continuation by MoEF&CC. These posts carry no claim for regular absorption or permanent university service.
