Educational Qualification

Applicants must hold a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) from a recognized University or UGC-approved institution. In addition, candidates must have at least 2 years of industrial work experience in medium and large-scale manufacturing process industries, preferably in Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management, certified by the Chief Executive of the employing industry.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidates must be aged between 18 and 42 years. Standard state government age relaxations apply: 5 years for SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates, up to 10 years for PwBD, and as applicable for Ex-Servicemen and state government employees.

Selection is conducted through a single-level Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) consisting of two objective papers totaling 450 marks (Paper-I: General Studies & Mental Ability [150 questions, 150 marks], Paper-II: Industrial & Occupational Safety, Health and Environment [150 questions, 300 marks – each question carries 2 marks]). No screening test will be conducted irrespective of application volume. Candidates must also qualify in the practical Computer Proficiency Test (CPT, 100 marks) prior to final selection and certificate verification.
