Educational Qualification

Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) / Sociology / Psychology / Child Development or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from a recognized University; OR a Graduate Degree in any faculty with a Diploma in Child Rights / Counseling along with 3 years of work experience.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of desirable work experience in the field of child rights, child protection, legal work, child psychology counseling, sociology, or psychology. Preference will be given to candidates with prior work experience in District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), Special POCSO Courts, or Childline services.
Domicile: Must be a citizen of India and permanent resident of Saran district, Bihar. Clean antecedents affidavit is mandatory.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidate must be more than 30 years and less than 65 years of age as on 01.07.2026 (the age criteria prescribed for Child Welfare Committee members in Bihar applies).
