APSC Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for Research Assistant Post (Labour Welfare Department)

Essential Qualifications & Preferable Criteria:
• Educational Qualification: Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from any recognized University.
• State Domicile & Registration: Must be a permanent resident of Assam, evidenced by a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purpose OR a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
• Preferable Qualifications/Experience: (A) Diploma in Computer Application; (B) Documented experience dealing with subjects of Labour Laws in a Government Department/Organization; OR (C) Degree or Diploma in Labour Laws or Social Work (MSW).
• Small Family Norms: Submission of declaration regarding Small Family Norms in Form-A is mandatory.

The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2026. Upper age limit is relaxable:
• By 5 years for SC/ST candidates (up to 43 years).
• By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates (up to 41 years).
• By 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) across categories (up to 48 years).
