HPSCB Recruitment 2026 – Apply for Cooperative Intern Posts

Cooperative Interns under this flagship Ministry of Cooperation and NABARD initiative are assigned to District Central Cooperative Banks in Himachal Pradesh: The Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. (covering Kangra, Hamirpur, Kullu, Una, and Lahaul-Spiti districts with headquarters in Dharamshala) and The Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. (covering Solan district with headquarters in Solan). Working under the guidance of the Managing Director and District Cooperative Officers, interns bridge the gap between DCCBs and grass-root Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS). Core operational tasks include troubleshooting national PACS computerization and ERP software implementation, preparing multi-purpose business development plans (Common Service Centre rollout, grain storage Godown management, custom hiring centers), evaluating agricultural credit proposals, and compiling weekly implementation progress reports for NABARD and the Ministry of Cooperation. The role combines bank headquarters desk analysis with periodic fieldwork across picturesque hill-state cooperative societies.

Stationed at designated DCCB headquarters/branches: The Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. (Dharamshala/Kangra) or The Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. (Solan), Himachal Pradesh. The engagement is strictly an internship program for a non-renewable period of one (01) year only, funded through NCDC under the Cooperative Education Fund.

Paid a fixed monthly consolidated stipend of ₹25,000/- per month, with official travel allowances (TA/DA) covered by the respective cooperative banks. While the internship does not confer any claim, assurance, or right to regular permanent employment in HPSCB, KCCB, or JCCB, completing a 1-year high-level cooperative banking internship sanctioned by the Government of India provides gold-standard credentials for competitive recruitment as Assistant Manager, Junior Manager, or Rural Development Officer across State Cooperative Banks, NABARD, and nationalized commercial banks.
